Description: Godspeed Racing 2 piece performance brake discs and bell kit for Subaru Impreza's fitted with the factory option Prodrive/Alcon 330mm brake kit.
These 330mm 2 piece discs as far better than the heavier, factory fitted, one piece, steel/iron disc. A lighter disc will reduce the unsprung weight allowing the suspension to do it's job more effectively.
The centre bell is made from billet alluminium. Alloy brake discs dissipate heat much faster than an all iron/steel disc resulting in reduced brake fade and less heat transfer through to the bearings.
This unique disc and bell design allows just enough flexibility for natural expansion and contraction of the metal properties during rapid temperature changes. Unlike conventional brake dics, this significantly reduces the chance of warping or cracking during and after hard driving.
Another advantage is that the brake bells are bolted to the disc meaning you can change just the outer rotor when they wear down, as apposed to changing the entire brake disc. This works out to be cost effective in the long term.
